17/ 30. I'm currently swamped with work (exams just around the corner...) so I doubt I'll look at that many games coming up this weekend but I'll try to do my best! In the meantime, marvel at this work of art (sorry for the lack of embedded video, blogspot is sometimes playing such tricks - don't miss it though, it's PHENOMENAL).

Weekend a gwarn.

Let's round things up after a lot of mid-to-late-week action:
......................................................................................
Manchester City v West Bromwich Albion X at halftime [despite demolishing West Brom, Mancini claims the title has already been decided nad it's not going to be City's. If it's his take at mind games then I'd rather he shuts up.]
Wigan Athletic v Manchester United 2 [major shock albeit a fully served win for Wigan. Worked their socks off.]
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Arsenal both teams to score [red card in the opening 10 minutes of the game killed the contest before it even started. Very good save from Szczesny to deny Doyle in the 2nd half though.]
QPR v Swansea 1
AS Roma v Udinese both teams to score
Catania v Lecce both teams to score
Inter v Siena penalty to be taken
Juventus v Lazio 1 to score 2 or more goals
Napoli v Atalanta 1 at halftime [Napoli are on such a rotten run of form ever since that fateful night at Stamford Bridge...]
Valencia v Rayo Vallecano over 2,5 goals
Atletico Madrid v Real Madrid sending off [Cristiano Ronaldo, you ABSOLUTE BEAST]
Bayer Leverkusen v Kaiserslautern over 1,5 goals
Borussia Dortmund v Bayern Munich 1
Hannover v Wolfsburg over 2,5 goals
Hoffenheim v HSV lay 2
RKC Waalwijk v PSV 2
Roda Kerkrade v Feyenoord 2
SC Heerenveen v Ajax Amsterdam over 3,5 goals [a lot of people seem to overlook that Ajax scored 81 goals in only 29 league games this season. Astonishing. Frank de Boer bringing back the goods? Certainly looks like it!]
Stuttgart v Werder Bremen 1
Southampton v Reading 1
.................................................................................

14.04:
..................................................................
Swansea v Blackburn (15:00) both teams to score (1.69).
.....................................................................

........................................................................

Nottingham Forest v Blackpool (15:00) over 2,5 goals (1.87).
.........................................................................
West Ham United v Brighton & Hove Albion (15:00) 1 (1.64) [WHU have not won a home game since early February but suddenly have been gifted an opportunity to close the gap to Southampton to only 3 points. Automatic promotion is still a possibility and they know it.]

............................................................................
Colchester v Sheffield Wednesday (15:00) 2 (1.91).
...............................................................................
Rochdale v Exeter (15:00) 2 (3.35) [huge game at the botttom, Tisdale usually manages to get his Exeter side to perform one final push right at the end of the season and when the chances of staying up are still there I think Exeter will just edge it.]
................................................................................
Wallsall v Tranmere (15:00) 1 (2.30).

.............................................................................................
Udinese v Inter Milan (19:45) penalty to be taken (3.45)

Wisla Kraków v LKS Lódz (14:45) X at halftime (2.34).
....................................................................................................
Widzew Lódz v Legia Warszawa (17:00) over 1,5 goals (1.54)

Happy Easter!

I was toying with the idea of writing something like 'Happy (football) Easter' which could be shortened to something along the lines of 'Happy Foolster' yet after typing it I realised it looks fucking silly, so it might be a better idea to stick to the age-old wishes.

Rounding-up the games from the past few days:

Onto the usual Saturday stuff:

Sunderland v Tottenham (12:45) both teams to score (1.79)
.
Bolton Wanderers v Fulham (15:00) 1 (2.64)
.
Chelsea v Wigan Athletic (15:00) 2 to score 1 or more goals (1.69)
.
Liverpool v Aston Villa (15:00) under 2,5 goals (2.16)
.
West Bromwich Albion v Blackburn (15:00) both teams to score (1.67)
.
Stoke City v Wolverhampton Wanderers (17:30) 1 (1.73)
.
AC Milan v Fiorentina (14:00) penalty to be taken (3.90)
.
Lecce v AS Roma (14:00) both teams to score (1.72)
.
Lazio v Napoli (20:00) X (3.30)...
.......................................................................................................................................................
Espanyol v Real Sociedad (17:00) 1 (1.83)
.
Rayo Vallecano v Osasuna (17:00) X at halftime (2.24)
.
Real Zaragoza v Barcelona (19:00) lay 2 (1.19) as tempting as the odds of 22/1 on Zaragoza may sound, I'm not too sure if they'll beat Barca...I have a feeling they shouldn't lose though!
.
Wolfsburg v Borussia Dortmund (14:30) under 3,5 goals (1.56)
............................................................................,.
Borussia Moenchengladbach v Hertha Berlin (17:30) 1 (1.58)
.........................................................................................
Montpellier v Sochaux (18:00) 1 (1.47)
..........................................................................
Brest v Lille (18:00) 2 (1.83)
...............................................................................
Braga v FC Porto (20:30) X at halftime (2.16).
.........................................................................................................................................................
Aberdeen v Dundee United (15:00) 2 (2.20)
.
Legia Warszawa v Ruch Chorzów (12:30) lay 1 (2.10) I have a sneaky feeling Legia will crumble under pressure and won't get a much needed win. Again, as with Barcelona, I'm unsure whether they will manage to hold out for a draw or succumb to Ruch's deadly counter attacks. Legia is forced to change things up as they only have 1 defensive midfielder available and their usual set-up includes 2 such players. To make matters even more attractive, Ruch are available at excellent 4.50....
